Frequently asked questions

What is Dot Hours of Service?
A $49.99/month PWA that helps trucking teams organize DOT hours of service logs, pre-trip inspection reports, drivers, and trucks.
Who is it for?
Fleet managers, dispatchers, owner operators with multiple drivers, and trucking companies that need a simple compliance record workflow.
How many drivers and trucks can I manage?
The standard subscription is designed for up to 100 drivers and trucks in one organization.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The app is built as a Progressive Web App so drivers can log HOS activity and pre-trip inspections from a mobile browser or installed home-screen app.
Does this replace legal compliance advice?
No. The app helps organize records and workflows, but each carrier remains responsible for following applicable FMCSA and DOT requirements.
Is Dot Hours of Service for ELD-exempt carriers only?
Yes. This app is meant for motor carriers that are exempt from the FMCSA electronic logging device (ELD) mandate—for example, carriers that keep paper logs or qualify for an exemption. It is not a registered electronic logging device. If your operation is required to use an ELD, you must use an FMCSA-registered ELD; this software does not satisfy that requirement.
How do I cancel?
Open Billing from the app and use the Stripe customer portal to manage or cancel your subscription.
Who owns and operates this service?
This service is owned and operated by SimpleSaaS, LLC, a software company based in Dyersburg, TN. For support questions email support@simplesaasllc.com.

ELD exemption notice. Dot Hours of Service is intended only for carriers that are exempt from the FMCSA electronic logging device (ELD) rule. It is not a substitute for a registered ELD where federal rules require one.
